Next month there will be a weekend chess congress taking place in Darlington. The Durham Chess Congress is a three day event which will run from Friday 12th May until Sunday 14th May at the Dolphin Centre.
The congress will cater for a range of playing abilities – there will be three sections in the form of an open, a major and a minor section. It will provide a rare opportunity for chess players in Stockton to compete in a classical tournament locally.
